Dear OCA National Board:
I hope that your 2019 is off to a great start. I wanted to reach out to you all to let you all know that my last day at OCA will be this Friday, January 11th. After over 7 years in DC, I will be returning to my hometown of Seattle to be closer to my family and pursuing a new challenge as the Associate Regional Director of the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) Pacific Northwest Region.
Together, over the past 7 years, we have been able to build OCA into an even greater organization. I’m particularly proud of how we have created a more sustainable organization that operates on profitable budgets, meets programmatic metrics, diversified its funding portfolio, is respected in the advocacy space, and strengthened our partnerships across the country. We’ve grown our staff to double its size, relaunched our website, revamped the membership process and CRM, provided new grant opportunities to chapters, expanded our Business Advisory Council, and supported a new generation of leaders.
I will dearly miss the work and friendships that I have created along the way. Your support of not only OCA, but also myself as I grew with the organization will always have a profound effect upon me and I will never forget it. Thank you for all you do for the community – it is an inspiration to work alongside such incredible people.
While I will be departing, OCA is left in great hands to accomplish great things in 2019 with a solid team that is here to provide continuity for the organization:
