Updates about the OCA Mentoring Asian American Professionals program in the Bay Area

Dear OCA members and supporters

Sorry for the two emails so close to each other, we hit send too quickly.

There were some attendees and great discussions at the Mixer, shoutout to the SF Chapter folks for organizing it.

The MAAP Registration is live at this website: https://www.ocanational.org/maap-east-baysf 

Please spread the word to your networks who would be interested to participate as mentees or mentors.

The convening dates are also listed.

Please note: Missing convenings is not a dealbreaker from participating in the program.  In past Bay Area MAAPexperiences, some pairs met individually but never attended the full group convening. Missing convenings might mean you lose out on some of the value gained from the curriculum and discussions on those convenings.

Convening Venues

The organizing team is still looking for venues of the Convenings, preferring places in San Francisco that have a large room, if possible have projectors/AV equipment, and are public transit accessible along with allowing us to bring in food.
