In time right before Easter and Earth Day, join OCA-East Bay for our SIXTH Pickitup Chinatown on Sunday, April 9th, 2017.
Each time, on the second Sunday of each month, empowered by the 40-50 volunteers that have come out, we have removed hundreds of pounds of waste so far from our sidewalks, streets and parks. The goal of this effort is to promote civic participation through feeling ownership of the neighborhood and hope to cultivate new leaders and advocates.
Meetup spot is T4, 1068 Webster. If you're under 18 you will need to bring a parent-signed consent form. We will be able to sign off on volunteer hours.
