#stopCISPA, important!

Hey guys, I know we're all really focused on stuff, but I want to bring to your attention the bullshit that is #CISPA. This is the newest incarnation of SOPA/PIPA and it's REALLY BAD.

 

Essentially it allows corporations to share your personal information with the government. It also has very vague definitions of what "cyberterrorism" is, to the point where it could be manipulated to cover a LOT of cases. If you are of the Twitter persuasion, you should push #stopCISPA. If you are a human being with a mouth and the ability to string words together, you should CALL YOUR REPS and tell them you oppose this shit. I know many of you are against that form of action, so TAKE action if you must in a direct way, but this bill cannot pass.

Facebook is actually supporting this because it allows for MORE interference from corporations into people's privacy. It's so bad, dudes. Look it up and do some reading, but holy crap we gotta do whatever we can to stop this thing.
