Prayer Requests from March 27, 2016…..Please pray for:

Robert Parker: Prayers are asked for her Father. He was in an accident, and over 60% of his upper body was burned. Also, please pray for the family, especially Brittany’s Mother, as they wait for God’s decision. Apparently the accident occurred on/about 24 March 2016. (Father of Brittany Ludwig (OBUMC member).

Julie, Shay and their families: Health issues (Johanne Mullarkey)

Sam Morton: Has suffered and is recuperating from 5 cardiac arrests earlier in March. Pray for his family, wife Myra and children. (Tami Cope-Jones)

New Prayer Request – 29 March 2016:

Harry “Luke” Lucas: Luke is a former long-time member of OBUMC, and, whose wife, Elizabeth, died only last 26 November. Recently he had a fainting spell, which was attributed to a light case of pneumonia. However, tests revealed that he also has cancer in his right lung, which has also moved into his brain, and 2-3 ribs on his right side. He had a special port installed in his upper right chest yesterday, and will soon start injections into the port as part of a program/new test treatment for cancer. Luke says his doctors are quite optimistic that they can reverse/contain his cancers. His daughter, Donna, has now moved in with Luke to care for him. Please pray for Luke and for his family, as they rely on God and doctors to free him from cancer. Please take the time to send Luke those treasured cards, letters, notes of encouragement. He feels a little isolated at this time. Send to: Luke Lucas

Jafaralsadiq: 4 year old diagnosed with cancer – inoperable. Effects of chemo treatments make him unable to eat and drink. He also has burns inside his mouth and on his face and neck, from radiation treatments. He constantly cries out because of the pain. Pray for family. (Bonita Darby)

Sally Goodrich (Sister of Sue Cleary): Strength as the caretaker of her brother.
