Robbery at Observatory Bottle store

Date ;2014/06/07 Time 17;15 Observatory Bottle Store.

Bravo 1 S/O Zide reported gunshots in Lower Main Rd, Golf 3 Supt Manuel respond found a white male name Brad that was shot in the stomach by armed black male at Corners Lower Main and Trill Rd at Observatory bottle store
.
Supt Manuel reported Brad was withdrawing money from the Nedbank ATM afterwards he went inside the Bottle store where he found a black male arguing with the owner and took whiskey from the shelves, he was trying to assist the owner when the black male shot him.

It is said the other suspect was waiting on the outside, the two black males fled in a Blue Nissan Centre and is still at large. Metro Ambulance GBH 419 G took the male to Groote Schuur hospital. SAPS driving BTB 289 B on scene Constable Motheo and Defective W/o Smith and also ER 24 was on scene.

OPS Safety Patrol officers were the first members on the scene to assist the injured person until the ambulance arrived.

Detectives still on scene. Response of police and ambulance were excellent.
