First --- special thanks to a terrific presentation by Jim White on the Sun as a star among many others. We had a good size group who focused a lot of attention on both the science and the human experience. They had a lot of good questions and clearly enjoyed it all. I could see that this group will maintain a growing interest for a long time.
Our next event will be the Spring event and for Spring and Summer we'll be getting outside with our scopes for nighttime observing. Specific date, time (dark), purpose - will be posted later.
In the meantime, we'll keep this email-sharing alive as we see interesting things. Note that Venus is alive in the SW night sky with Jupiter rising in the East a bit later.
