Hi all...

 

This week is SPACE WEEK.  Of course, we don't meet again until the 20th where we will be meeting at 6:30p ... at:

Parker Station - 19751 E Mainstreet - Parker, CO 80138

... 2nd floor meeting room.

> I'll do a small presentation on Astronomy as a hobby.  Telescope types, etc.  Perhaps you already know about such things but maybe you can bring some other folks who are beginners and want to know about these things.

 

For Space Week ......  "we" are apparently going to try to soft-land on a comet.  We have previously landed on an asteroid before...

... but it was really more of a crash.  A big crash.  This time, however, they are apparently attempting to actually SOFT land... this Wednesday.  So - WOW, a big deal.
