Astro Club Members

Hi everybody.
I've kept the club going each month for the past 14 months and I've met some nice and interesting enthusiasts. I want to keep the astronomy activities going but clearly there is a lack of support from all but a few very interested and enthusiastic folks. No one from the Council for Arts, Science and Culture ever participates in any activities and clearly they have no interest at all. And, they recruit virtually no one to join us. So, we have a numbers problem.
I think perhaps a monthly schedule is not the best way to go. I'm going to reduce the schedule to a quarterly arrangement. In general, I'm talking about...
· February
· May
· August
· November
-ish.
In other words, the January meeting is cancelled and I'll look to Feb. as a time to reconvene.
So, from May to August we'll look to outdoor activities and Nov.-Feb. we'll do indoor material. Any of you are very welcome to present, to suggest activities, to call for an outing or anything else to bring us together. So, at this point, I'll look to doing another indoor event yet this winter. I will of course share several announcements and invitations when that detail is arranged. As always, I welcome guests and drop-ins.
I want to specially thank Jim, Mort, the new Jim and of course, Nathalie and Greg. We, along with anyone else who's interested, will continue to enjoy and share astronomy. Let's all keep in touch.
