Under the new IAU definition almost all the planets technically no
longer qualify as planets because of the Trojan asteroids not being
cleared from the planet's orbit path. Jupiter is not the only planet
with
Trojan asteroids. Earth and Mars are crossed every
other day by very large pieces of rock from the asteroid belt not
cleared from these planets orbital path. The planets need to be
classified similar to how plants and animals are organized. Nobody has
demoted mice from being mammals. The astronomers at the IAU have
committed bad science.
