Reminder: Social Isues Forum meeting on Thursday 31 May at 9.30 at the GSCID boardroom

A reminder of our meeting tomorrow (31 May) at 9.30 in the GSCID
boardroom.

Hi Rob,
Hoping that your well? I'd love to attend the meetings but mornings are extremely difficult for me as the classes is from Mon to Thurs 9am to 2 30pm. Fri 9am to 12pm.

Problems from the community is addressed in the morning as well. Our UCT student volunteers are busy writing exams now & will only be on track in July again so it makes it more difficult.

I thank you for the updates thought its appreciated. I'd like you to mention though that Rosemary & staff from Obz Library is doing sterling work with the homeless. They hand out lunch vouchers & then the clients come to eat, have a shower or wash their clothes if they want to etc.

We also give them some tea after lunch as its really cold. We are making stews mostly as they are so hungry they eat several plates of soup so with stew, they are more satisfied.

Please accept my apologies.
If anyone has spare blankets pl think of our clients.

Sorry I could not make it to the meeting today. It was a bit crazy in the
office and I needed to step pin and help out with interviews.
