Thank you to those who were able to join us for the ICBO OBO Tutorial on Collaborative Editing Workflows in Biomedical Ontologies on July 10th. If you were unable to join, the recording is available here. 

As a follow up to the tutorial, we are hosting the OBO Academy Challenge, open now through August 31st. 

Briefly, the challenge is designed to apply the skills we discussed at the OBO tutorial and encourage community collaboration and engagement. Your task is to contribute to an OBO Ontology Project of your choice that you have not yet contributed to. See all the details for the challenge in this GitHub issue. 

The winner will be announced on September 17th. The prize is a subscription for 1 year for an AI tool of your choice! (The cost should not exceed 20 USD / month.)
