Renamed (label!) has database-crossreference to has crossreference

Dear OBO community!

we (the protectors of the OBO ontology metadata realm) were recently informed that our change last year to rename "has database cross-reference" to "has cross-reference" went unnoticed. This name change was performed to reflect the wider range of applications this property was in effect used for (not just database xrefs, but any xrefs).

The property still has the same IRI (http://www.geneontology.org/formats/oboInOwl#hasDbXref), so you do not need to change anything in your ontology curation efforts (assuming you are, which you should, using IRIs). 

We were also made aware that this change leads to some suboptimal visualisation in Protege (the way the properties are sorted in the annotations tab), so we recommend making an issue about this here: https://github.com/protegeproject/protege/issues.

We recommend to subscribe to https://github.com/information-artifact-ontology/ontology-metadata repo to be kept up to date for any changes related to OMO, but the team will also announce bigger changes in the future via obo-discuss and slack.
