If physical slavery is repulsive, how much more repulsive is the concept of servility of the spirit?

In other words, spiritual slavery is worse than physical slavery.

And the goal of the altruist doctrine is to create spiritual slaves --
without them even being aware that they are slaves.

So thats why its worse, because they don't even know that they are
slaves. At least with physical slavery, they know it and can try to do
something about it, like run away.

Hmm. I'm reminded of something I just read in _Liberalism_ by Mises.

He said that many slaves believed that they were inferior and that
they should be slaves. They believed that they needed masters.

So, a physical slave could also be a spiritual slave (because he
believes that he's inferior and needs a master).

According to brainyquote.com:

"It only stands to reason that where there's sacrifice, there's
someone collecting the sacrificial offerings. Where there's service,
there is someone being served. The man who speaks to you of sacrifice
is speaking of slaves and masters, and intends to be the master."
