I was about to test some projects in IE8. All of them failed. I
created an empty project with Atlas (latest). It failed too.
This is the error window: http://i49.tinypic.com/zyiaq.png
Although it's in german maybe it's useful.

Is this a known bug?

I tested something else and downloaded the starter package from
http://cappuccino.org/download/

Same thing here, white screen after loading and JavaScript error.

So apparently it's a global problem, some other guys had the problem
too.
I opened a ticket.

Although this may not be the issue, I suspect it is:

You can't run apps from file:/// in IE. You have to run it through a server, or it won't work.

Did you read my previous email? You need to run it from a server, IE doesn't work running it as a file:/// URL. Is that the problem?

Yeah thanks for your reply. I tested the starter package on a server
which worked in IE8 although some other projects didn't work. But I
have to do some more tests to be sure that's not my fault.

Allright got it.. I used an unsupported "setProperty" method which
failed in IE. The problem was that I used this method in almost every
project so it seemed like none of the would work in IE8. Sorry guys..
