SkinnableContainer - addElement()

I can't get the MutiObjectExample to work in FLEX 4.6 - this worked
perfectly in FLEX 4.0

I took the MultiObjectExample and converted from using it and
MX:CANVAS to s:SkinnableContainer

I also added a Skin that has a background image, in this case its an
image of an IPAD.

If I use the addChild() method when I drop the image it disappears

If I use addElement() the image appears BUT I can not select it with
Object handles

any help will be appreciated
