We recently upgraded to OBIEE 12c in the linux environment.  Recently we have seen the CPU's spike to 100%.  This has happened in our production environment and this environment has not been released to users yet.  We attempted a fix by changing the Muxer and it seemed to hold for a few days then suddenly it spiked again.  This time the entire VM had to be rebooted.

Has anyone else seen this?  If so, how was it resolved?

Thanks!

"12c" and "linux" are a bit vague. Which OS, which exact version etc? Never seen this on any machine yet myself.

Can you pin-point which service is using up the most cpu, admin server, managed services, Java, or one of the obiee components?  Use TOP command.
