Hi,

We tried configuring SAML Authentication provider. We added SAML as authentication provider in myrealm and configured the Federation services tab inside the bi_server1.

After that when we tried to access the BI Analytics and Publisher, we faced the following errors.

We get the following error when we access BI Analytics URL:

Error 500--Internal Server Error
From RFC 2068 Hypertext Transfer Protocol -- HTTP/1.1:
10.5.1 500 Internal Server Error
The server encountered an unexpected condition which prevented it from fulfilling the request.

When accessing BI Publisher we get the following error:
Server not initialized. Please make sure the repository is ready.

We are able to access EM & Console. All the Services are up & Running.

Now we have deleted the SAML Authentication provider and undone all the changes in bi_sever1>federation services and made a full stack restart. But still we face the same issue.

Please help us in resolving the same.

Thanks in advance

Dinesh

Hi Dinesh,
Have you followed the MyOracle Support Note:
OBIEE 11g: Configuring Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition to act as a SAML 2.0 Service Provider for SSO (Doc ID 1350125.1)?
Thanks
Matthieu Lombard
