Hi All,

I faced problem when tried to combine data from 2 fact table in OBIEE. Here is my requirement

- I have report requirement to show Percentage of employees who have attended training with this calculation
  Percentage = No. of employees who have attended training course / Total no. of employees
- I am using OBIA HR Analytics module, No. of employees who have attended training course is coming from (Fact - HR - Learning Enrollment and Completion) and Total no. of employees is coming from under Fact - HR - Operation (Workforce). So data are coming from 2 different facts and no linkage between this 2 fact tables.
- Currently I am using combine request in answer to combine data from this 2 fact tables.

But I had problem after combining data from 2 fact table to limit only for data which have percentage greater than 0 to display. I could not find anything to filter this data. I only can filter for each request not for combine request. Is It anyway to make It happen? I you guys have any thought please let me know. Really appreciate for your help.

Regards,

Joni

My 2 cents - Can you bring the total number of employees in a session variable? This number will not change frequently and just for this one number, there's no point to join the two reports.

I understand that only "No. of employees who have attended training course" has to be grater than 0, to make it work.
On the other hand, "Total no. of employees " will always be >= 0.
So, you just have to add that filter in one of the union reports.

a / b > 0 => a > 0 & b <> 0.

Regards, Mariano
