Hi All,
We have a requirement to get Cumulative total of grand totals in pivot view. This is how we want in results

                                        Jan    Feb        Mar
Product1                            50     120          200
Product2                            30       60           70
Product3                            20       20           30

Grand Totals                     100    200        300
Cumulative total
 100    300        600

Any idea how this can be achieved ?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Hi Dinesh

One solution would be to break report into 2 pivot tables. The first showing the month and product breakdown of measure.

The second pivot to calculate measure by month only (exclude product in this pivot table) and to set "display data as" running sum for cumulative total and the grand total can be derived from the same measure by "duplicating layer" and default aggregation should be sum for the grand total. You can hide the Month column in the second pivot to achieve your display below.

You'll have to line up pivots by making columns same size in both pivots but there will be a small gap between the 2 tables though.

Regards
Joel

Hi Dinesh,

I would try to a union report!
This will give you full control over the Total rows.

Union 1 for products
Union 2 for the Grand total
Union 3 for the Cumulative total

Best Regards Lamin
