Unable to access Modeler in BICS

Hi Team,

 

While we are connecting to "Model", we are getting the below messaage:

"Please use Oracle BI Administration Tool to manage your model"

 

 

 

Actually we lift and shift the rpd into BICS. Now we want default model in BICS. And the default Sanpshot is not avialable with us.

 

So can anyone please help to resolve the above issue.

If you start with an upload, you can't use the modeler ever for that RPD. The modeler is stripped down, and doesn't have all the features of the Admin tool. It's either one or the other.

You will probably need to raise an SR with Oracle Support. To get back to the TCM you need to restore a snapshot you took of the system before you did the RPD upload, which is sounds like you haven't done (easy mistake to make). So looks like you'll need to raise an SR to get your BICS instance restored back to the default setup with the TCM (Think Client Modeller).
