Hello,

Is there a way to access detailed logs of actions performed by users in Opal (e.g. modification of a variable value in a table). We would need logs of the changes, the variables/datasets involved, and ideally with the time stamp. Is there any way to access this type of information, either from the Opal admin console, or directly in some filesystem file?

Thank you,

Felix

Hi,

There is a log for the REST API, available at OPAL_HOME/logs/rest.log (and other rolling rest-*.log files), or (for the latest entries only) by downloading Administration > Java Virtual Machine > Logs > Web services logs. The format is a stream of JSON objects (Logstash format).

Regards
Yannick
