Hi all,

I'm currently trying to get the email service of Agate working, but no luck yet. Unfortunately I couldn't find a clear solution or example in the documentation on how to set this up. Is there something like an example available for this when using docker-compose? Then I at least have something to start with, and use as reference. Thanks!

Best Tom

Hi,

The mail sender setup is to be done in the conf/application.yml file: see the spring.mail properties in the default configuration file. When using docker, there is no env variable exposed by the agate image to setup this: you need to mount the /srv volume and then modify the conf/application.yml to match your needs. There is certainly a smtp server docker image that you can combine with, but I have never tried.

Regards
Yannick

Ok thanks, I was already working on this exact approach, but until now it didn't work out. At least I know now that this should indeed be the way to go
