Hi all!

I have users with permission that can view dictionary and summaries & view dictionary and values. These view permissions don't apply to the projects file system though. I have documents (e.g. documentation) linked to the projects "Files" tab, but they are not visible for them. If I log in as administrator, I can see that the files are there. I don't want to give users other permissions than "view", but apparently that does mean they won't be able to see the files I added to the file system...

Off course, I understand that it won't be possible for users to upload files to the project dirs (with the current permission), but shouldn't it be possible for them to be able to at least view/open the files?

Hopefully there is a solution!
Best, Tom

Hi,

It is a bit tricky because some people use the project folder to upload dataset files before importing them. Then giving view value permission on a single table should not grant permissions on all project files because of the risk of disclosing private data. The solution would be to add the possibility of granting access permissions to a specific folder (in your case, a folder for the documentation). This is a feature request.

Regards
Yannick
