Non-overwriting of DataSHIELD options based on R package's DESCRIPTION files

Hi,

    Is it possible to specify that if DataSHIELD options which already exists, the redeployment of a DataSHIELD packages which contains options within it's Description files does not cause the existing option to be overwritten?

There is no such option for the options at the moment.

    Thanks. 

The reason I asked is that concerns have been raised that redeploying a package could causing a disclosure setting to being reset.
