If possible, I would really like to sit in on the discussions for specimen and material sample. These terms are central to the Biological Collections Ontology, and we want to make sure that the definitions will work for us. I have copied John Wieczorek and John Deck on this, as they may want to sit in too.

I understand that this is an internal meeting, and you may not want lots of outsiders, who don't have much background, confusing the issues, but I think it would be a shame if we were not able to use OBI for these terms.

If it is okay for us to join in, can you please send me the agenda (once it is ready) so I know when to join the Webex?

Absolutely, please join that part of the discussion. Currently it is scheduled for the morning of 5/30. We are on a mission though: We need to finalize the review of all terms in this workshop, so there will be limits to the time we can spend on a given term. So it is our goal to capture remaining problems in the documentation, rather then trying to reach 100% consensus and perfect solutions for everything. But in that spirit, it would be great to have you there, and see if what we have meets your needs and/or how it can be improved.
