Chennai Hash Wishing Hashers From All over The World & India- Merry Christmas & SmHashing 2013
Chennai Hash plan to celebrate its 13th Anniversary from 9th-13th October 2013 (5days/4nights), at “God’s Own Country”, Kerala, India
The mis-management has decided to drop Wayanad & instead do Kochi, Munnar & Alleppey (Houseboat). The reason to drop Wayanad is we will be travelling more on surface then hashing.
The plan is to do the last leg on houseboats on the backwaters. Hashers who came to Kerala for our anniversary in 2010 have been requesting for a repeat “backwater experience” … they want MORE!!!
The committee plans to take Hashers on their way out of Kochi to a lovely breath taking natural picturesque splendor location "Athirapally Falls", truly the Niagara of India, for a couple hours before we get back to Munnar for overnight stay.
Overseas Hashers, we would recommend arriving on the 8th Oct instead of 9thOct.
Indian Hashers can arrive on the 9th Oct before noon.

Alleppey (now “Alappuzha”), is known as the Venice of the East. Kerala has a long structure of water-body called backwaters, formed by the crisscrossing of 44 rivers flowing across the state. The backwaters known to be existent centuries ago connect the remote villages and cities of Kerala. The food cooked on board is local cuisine and served hot. These houseboats cruise along the shallow, palm fringed lakes and narrow canals.
