Hi everyone-

Here are your weekly updates and reminders and links.

RAINBOWS: If you are making rainbows, please ensure that you take responsibility for coming back and reclaiming or using the rainbow. If rainbows get left behind, they'll dry out and someone else will have to clean up after you.

JOIN LEADERSHIP: We are looking for more folks to join the leadership team. If you are interested in joining the leadership team in any capacity, we invite you to connect with us about open spots. This is a great opportunity if you're interested in working in the arts/arts management (and looks good on a resume/cover letter...). Please respond to this email or fill out the interest form here. You are also welcome to come to a leadership meeting at any time.

BATS:
Please remove your pots from the plastic bats after throwing, and put them on a wood board when possible. We don't have enough bats/space for everything to be left on plastic bats, plus keeping bats dry when not using them will reduce warpage.

PLEASE CLEAN UP AFTER YOURSELF: As always, a reminder to please clean up after yourself, so someone else doesn't have to. This includes putting the lids back on the glaze bucketsimmediately washing any brushes with wax on them, picking up shavings and trimmings from the floor, returning tools to where they came from, wiping down surfaces, and throwing away your trash. Don't make someone else clean up your mess!!!

WEEKLY CALENDAR: Please refer to the weekly calendar for office hours.

SIGN-UP FOR CLAY-MAKING AND CLEANING / WORKSHOPS:
All are in this document!

GAS KILN: will be unloaded by Wednesday evening. Report to the kiln shed then for your pots.

WE NEED CLAY MAKING AND CLEANING LEADERS:
Please respond to this email if you are interested in leading clay making and/or cleaning. NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY, we will help you learn until you feel comfortable leading it.

CO-OP WELCOME DOC: If you're feeling a bit lost, have a look at our welcome document. This should provide you with a basic overview of how to get started making pots in the co-op. Second best to stopping by office hours or signing up for a workshop.

Thanks for reading. See y'all in the co-op,
Maya
