Spring break form / claymaking:We don't have quite enough hands for a spring break claymaking -
let us know here if you will be on campus and are (or are not) willing to help or lead a claymaking! We will announce if there will be a spring break claymaking by the end of this week.
LEAD CLAYMAKINGS AFTER SPRING BREAK: If you have helped on the first hour of claymaking at minimum 3 times and the second hour 1 time, reach out to us about helping lead a claymaking shift (or two!) after spring break.
LEAD CLEANINGS AFTER SPRING BREAK: If you have helped at minimum two cleaning shifts and would be comfortable delegating cleaning tasks to attendees let us know.
Keep signing up for shifts - There's still 120 of you who have completed 0 hours and haven't reached out to us about reduced hours or inactivity! Keep signing up
here or shoot us an email.
We haven't explicitly said it for this semester, but one way you can earn hours on your own time is by making donations to empty mugs. Here's how it works:
- Every 10 pieces you make for Empty Mugs counts as 1 service hour
- Throw or sculpt your piece(s) - then sign it as MT or carve EMPTY MUGS on it somewhere
- Take a photo of each piece right before it’s bisque fired
- Take a photo and upload to the hours self-report form (QR code is above the wedging table)
- Take a look at the form and you'll see that you can upload pieces one at a time or all at once. If you enter them one at a time, the membership coordinators will keep a tally and once you reach ten pieces, it’s reflected in your hour count.
Another way is through independent cleanings. Please email us if you want to fill your hours this way, so we can send you a task list and instructions for reporting your hours properly.
