Anyone else having an issue with missing favorites activity? I'm seeing a possible bug where customers are hitting "favorite" on things in my shop, but its not showing up under the activity. Only when I deep dive into the particular item, was I able to see them. Before, it seems like all favorites and reviews activity showed up under activity/history. I have some evidence this has been going on for a couple of months. April/May. It appears to be a problem in both the Android app, and the Desktop app.
@HandcraftedBySteveM The issue is not whether YOUR favorites are private. It's whether a person favoriting your items has theirs marked as private, which is something you cannot possibly know. That is what would account for you seeing an item has new favorites, but not seeing those favorites in your feed. It's not a bug. That's how private favorites work, as I explained earlier.
If a user has their favorites marked as private, their favorites do not show up in your activity, but will show on listing stats numbers. That will not stop happening, as it's an intended result of keeping favorites private.
I do not have my favorites marked as private. Actually, most of the favorites activity does show up. I see now that my original description of the problem failed to make it clear that I'm missing only about 25% of the activity, with about 3 out of 4 showing up in the normal way. Was just curious if others have noticed this, and if Etsy is aware of the problem.
My favoriting activity has stopped completely too. I told my husband I hadn't even had anyone favorite anything in 4 days and he said he would favorite some of my items from his account and they never showed up, so I think something is wrong. Has your dashboard started showing favorites again or is it still not working?
Not sure where you are talking about as I have never seen any favorites in red, but if you are talking about on the listings page, then towards the top right of that page there is a stats button. Turn it on. Sometimes it mysteriously turns itself off.
I am aware that you can right-click on an application and choose "Add to Favorites". I am trying to add it to the favorites section without using the GUI at all. Everything needs to be done in the terminal or a script.
This is not a duplicate of this question. That is for SETTING the favorites, not ADDING to the favorites. When you right click on an application and choose "Add to Favorites", that must run a script somewhere that takes an input of the application name. What I'm asking is, where is that script or how can I replicate it?

Is this plugin multisite compatible?
As of version 1.1.0, Favorites is multisite compatible. The plugin API is designed for maximum flexibility while maintaining ease of use. For example, by passing a site_id parameter to the included functions, you may display user favorites across sites.
