what is "ts-muxrate" parameter?

hello, i read that usualli bitrates are in kb in OBE, but this line in the "simple example" script, is indeed strange:

screen -p 0 -S obe01 -X stuff $'set muxer opts ts-muxrate=5000000,ts-type=generic\012'

ts-muxrate=5000000 is really high? is in bits per second?
