Decklink card - No frame received for xx ms

Hello everyone,

Started testing with the OBE software, running on Ubuntu 14.04 server with a Decklink Duo 2 SDI input board. This server is running 2 encoding channels. Both Channels are fed with the same SDI source. First channel is working fine but on the second channel we see PCR errors from time to time.

At the same timestamp I found this entries in the syslog:

Dec 3 13:15:49 encoder01 obe[1335]: Decklink card index 1: No input signal detected
Dec 3 13:15:49 encoder01 obe[1335]: Decklink card index 1: No frame received for 65 ms
Dec 3 13:15:49 encoder01 obe[1335]: Speedcontrol reset
Dec 3 13:15:49 encoder01 obe[1335]: Decklink card index 1: No input signal detected
Dec 3 13:15:49 encoder01 obe[1335]: Decklink card index 1: No frame received for 94 ms
Dec 3 13:15:49 encoder01 obe[1335]: Speedcontrol reset
Dec 3 13:15:51 encoder01 obe[1335]: Mux smoothing buffer reset
Dec 3 13:15:52 encoder01 obe[1335]: Decklink card index 1: No input signal detected

* It always happens on SDI input 2 (BM index 1)
* SDI input and cabling are OK
* Same happens when I swap the SDI inputs

Has anyone of you been facing the same issue maybe? I'd highly appreciate your help and / or suggestions.

Your server is too slow or going into some kind of powersaving mode.

The issue seems to be resolved after disabling ACPI. Thanks a lot Kieran! You made my day.
