obdapi dependencies and headless problem

I wanted to confirm that obdapi.jar indeed depends on obo.jar and in
turn on bbop.jar and oboedit.jar.

If this is indeed true, this raises the problem that these jars
contain a lot of Swing code that not only is needless baggage that
needs to be copied around for redeployment, but also easily leads to
issues with running the code headless.

Are there any plans for creating versions of these jars that are free
of Swing code, or has this already been done and I just need to update?

I think the dependency on oboedit can be removed. bbop has some swing
code unfortunately, but I didn't think it caused any problems. I use
the OBDAPI on the command line (via obd-exec and rhino) all the time
with no problems..
