Is anyone who is in contract having delays in getting their
committment letter from an OBB preferred lender? we submitted our
application withe Wells Fargo on july 22nd and are still waiting for
ours.. after being persistent we were told we should have it early
next week as it is now live and on an underwriters desk...also, have
any of you locked your rate and at what? does anyone know if the
building is any closer to being Fannie Mae approved?

Finally got ours after 3 weeks. Been working with First Meridian and the commitment letter / loan packet arrived from TD Bank.
Everyone at all the loan companies says they're experiencing extraordinarily high volume right now because of the low rates, so I guess it's to be expected. But keep pushing them, I say.
