So we're doing our walk through today, and discover that a few of the windows are badly scratched (I can't think of a better word - looks like dirt but not). I guess we'd never looked that closely before.

Allegedly they're the original warehouse windows, hence the wear and tear. And allegedly the offering plan calls this out and disclaims responsibility for repair, though I don't remember seeing this.

Anyone else have this problem? And if so what did you do about it?

Thanks,
Aaron

Yes--2 panes were dotted with what I referred to as dings--Unfortunately not noticed until after the walk through.  Suzanne told me that the windows were "as is" and  would not be replaced. I brought it to my attorney's attention , took pictures, and at closing the Building's attorney agreed to relace the panes  which they did.  The fight seems to be over whether the imperfections are merely cosmetic.  I took the position that the dings were like cracks which impugned the integrity of the window.  Good luck!  Alissa

Alissa:

I wish I did the same thing. My windows panes are not in good
condition and Suszanne said they are as is and can't be replaced. They
are poorly sealed and I feel like the wind is blowing into my
apartment. I am freezing!!!

The sealing might be another matter. Scratches -- they wouldn't do anything about, but did Suzanne say that they wouldn't look at the sealing? That's a pretty straight-forward repair....
