Hi, all.  A decorator I know can design and have Roman Shades built for my LR (my LR had 3 blocks of Windows, not 6, like some apartments... 105" by 102" ) for $1600.  Is this a good price vs all the companies you went to?  I have no baseline?
By the way, have you seen Top Chef filming?  Did you know the contestants are living on the 11th Floor?
PS: Anyone hear anything about the commercial spaces?  Curious if there is any movement from supermarket or other tenant?

I heard last week it's likely to be a pet supply store (boring!) but that there is "dedicated" supermarket space in the building, so whether it's this year or three years from now, we will get a supermarket at some point.

Happy Monday everybody!

Jonathan, as always you have the best scoop (re: who is filming in the
building). How fun!

about something more prosaic: shades - we had our Silhuettes from
Hunter Douglas installed for $2,000 per window (gasp, here, i said
it... hopefully it'll help someone to avoid shelling out so
much:)))). It's the most expensive treatment out there, so hopefully,
you can use this as a baseline. I have to say the shades do look and
feel spectacular, but still, let me type it again: $2,000 per window
(we have 6 panes each window).
