In home network / Vios Set up

So I went to w walk through with a friend and inside one of the
closest there was an area where VIOS sets up there stuff, also i
noticed the place is wired with network connection drops through out
the place. In the closet there was two cabinets one that can be opened
(Vios) and one bellow it that has a screw on cover.


When i open the top cabinet all i saw was a fiber optic cable for the
VIOS but i did not see any other wires.

1) When you open your top panel is there a wire coming up from the
bottom cabinet. - I think all the drops through out the place are
gathered in the lower cabnet

2) Is it possible to post a picture of your top panel (inside) so
that i will be able to compare. - I have a feeling they wired it wrong
or did not finish the job.

3) Is it possible to post picture of the bottom pannel.

4) When the Vios guy came over to set up your cable did he go in the
main closet in the hall way and did something there - When i looked
at the fiber cable there was no light coming through it usually that
means it is not active. - Im just asking b/c they told my friend that
they don't need to go in the closet its all set up.

5) Can some one just brief describe how there home network is set up.
Where the cable modem is placed/Cable box is placed.
