Press Release on Discussion Group

All,

I wrote a press release on the discussion group.  This may seem like overkill, but in reality this is not much more than a webpage that will be picked up in Google searches in a few weeks and will help generate traffic to the website of the gorup.  The difficult thing about these discussion groups is recruiting members, so I need to promote it on the Internet.  It will take time, though.  Please keep up the posting every now and then, so viewers see the group as active and are encouraged to join.

I usually get a couple hundred hits in the first couple of days after I do a press release like that, but PRLog has not listed my PR they way they normally do with new PR's.  So no one is seeing it, at least until Google's spiders find it, which will take a week or so.  Since I posted it on a weekend, maybe they are waiting to have a manager approve it, but the longer they wait the lower it will slip on the list of new PR's that they post on their site.  I was amazed when I first fund out that people would suppress information like this, but I guess nothing surprises me anymore.
