This is the most lurid and disgusting I have ever encountered. We must send it out to guard and our children.

Even more important. We must not allow this garbage proliferate into huge rumors.

We already have enough issues to discuss. This must not distract more important issues. There is no proof the group is gangsters or had any involvement with the actual murder. They are just profiteering.

Turns out this band is likely not involved with the actual murder but took advantage of a photo of a murdered person. However they do bring up some unspeakably lurid songs. But it’s all about shock value. They sell shock and teen kids seem to buy it. The hole album seems to pull off the mystique of being gangsters from Mexico.

The pray on “sock value” to sell CD’s for greed.
No artistry here just garbage which glorifies garbage. It should be banned.
I don’t believe it has any thing to do with racist, immigration or border issues. It’s just junk for greed.
.......... I say just ignore this filth. And, if they don't make enough money it will just fade away.

BUT, CHECK  your kid’s music stashes for it just in case.

This is a YT video of a Mexican TV station reporting on the effect of a Mexican heavy metal band (Matando Gueros) on 'youth'.
One of the songs the band plays is titled, "Kill white boys". Another song on the album openly describes having sex with the corpses of dead children. A picture of a decapitated head (from a recent murder) appears on the cover of the album.

This was so bizarre I had to see for myself it this was real. And, unfortunately it really is. Music distributors actually sell this lurid garbage. For those whom pray. It’s time to pray a little extra for the kids making & listening to it. And for the wisdom of those whom sell it ……… My God, Please stop their insanity.

Pass me the machete Guero, I'm gonna do ya !, 17 Oct 2007 How rediculous is my review title? Well, thats how rediculous this album is. Brujeria Basically give us just over half an hour, of low end, fuzzy, rough as guts grind/ death, with not much thought on song structure, and more thought on having a good time. And it works really well !!! The basic premise of the band is that they are all Mexican drug lords, who hide their faces with bandanas and have about a million members in the band. In reality, the band was made up of members of more famous (and not so famous) death and grind groups. But even when they broke onto the scene, no one really knew who was exactly in the band at any one time. 'Matando Gueros' (kill white boys) is a raucous album of fuzzy bass, potent but basic riffs and some good, but sparse hooks, and the all important vocals of Juan Brujo, which just bellow spanish dialect obscenities at throat ripping capacity. The vocals just seem to come in whenever the time feels right. Of course this is a deft skill, and its not as 'haphazard' as it would first appear. Starting with a skit involving a drug deal going bad, the album grinds, rocks and blugeons its way through tracks that, although rated as "grindcore", lend themselves more to roughly played death metal, and in some sections there is just all out groove rock. This cd contains all of the original tracks from their debut, plus the added tracks off their EP "Machetazos". The album art is pretty intense, with a real police photo of a severed head (presumably from a real Mexican hit) and the song titles, with a little investigation, also present themsleves to have been written by someone with a rather sick sense of humour. Which is all good!!! Hey, if you don't like it don't buy it. The cover will let you know what you are about to get into. And if you do translate the lyrics, be prepared to read some sick stuff. But if you are a full on death metal fan, I expect you'll be grinning, rather than writing a letter to your local MP. The over all feeling of this album is a grindy, South American bandito soundtrack, with basement level production (well orchistrated I feel) and riotous songs to drink tequila and shoot 6 guns to. All in big sombraros, handle bar moustaches and bullet belts of course... and don't forget your "el Burro" gringos... A classic from the days back when.....  Comment | Permalink

I would not buy into that excuse, designed for naive people that want to stick their heads in the sand, that it is just about "shock value" to sell records.  It's about inciting people against Americans and to promote fantasies about the occult.  Certainly, it is dangerous to promote the idea among sick people that they have the right to go out and slaughter people, due to the racist idea that they have been wronged by an entire race or group.
