looked at the alerts code. What else does it need? I am not sure you can
style it to look like the mockup.

Attached is what it currently looks like. This is on Ubuntu, a GNU/Linux
distribution.
~From what i remember; You can only customize the icon that shows up
there. Its only meant as a notification and will differ according to
platform. You can also make the text inside the text respond to clicks.
