Dietrich - That looks awesome!  I originally thought the Obama Blog made sense for the default tab  - but as we get closer to the election, you're absolutely right, the latest news is super important and makes sense for the default. 

My hope is that we can see the titles of 4 articles without having to scroll down. We can work with Kalib to update the mockup, too.  About to ping Kalib for font request...

i resolved some of the more egregious styling problems tonight. i've
updated the todo list to reflect latest status:
also, i added a keyboard shortcut for toggling the reader:
ctrl+shift+o (cmd instead of ctrl on mac)

joe, what tab do you think should be enabled by default? i have it
currently set to news. as it seems like it'd immediately satiate the
folks who'd be opening it most often.
