Tomorrow Night: Help Us Keep Out Republican Extremists‏

Dear friends,

It is no exaggeration to say that the Congressional elections coming
up on November 2 will fundamentally shape the rest of Barack Obama's
presidency. Will he have enough support in Congress to fulfill the
solid promise of our good beginning over the last 2 years, or will he
be blocked by obstructive and extreme Republicans?

Your vote, and the votes of your fellow Democrats Abroad, may be the
deciding factor. Yet thousands of our overseas voters don't even know
that they have the right to vote this year.

You can help. Here's how:

1) Tomorrow, Democrats abroad UK will have a Council meeting where we
will make phone calls to Democratic voters, and train supporters in
how to make even more calls from home, with the help of your friends.

2) At the Council meeting, sign up to host a house party calling
effort to reach out to critical voters. We can give you the tools you
need and support to run a great calling effort - it's a fun and
rewarding way to make a big difference this year.

Can't make it tomorrow night? Not to worry! Join us Wednesday, October
6 at the London Speakeasy, which will be converted to a phone bank for
this crucial month.
