We’ve received the following note from Stephanie Stewart, who
coordinates voter registration efforts for Democrats Abroad UK. Please
consider giving some of your time to this effort now and for the mid-
term elections.

PLEASE NOTE THE CHANGE OF VENUE FOR TOMORROW EVENING

Please join the Voter Registration planning meeting on Thursday,
January 28. Voter registration training will be at 6:00pm followed by
a voter registration strategy meeting at 6:30.

The training and meeting will be held at the Tudor Rose, 44 Blandford
Street, Marylebone, London W1U 7HS. Apologizes for the venue change.
The location was just offered to us for free and is more central for
many who plan to attend.

Agenda items will include:

- Possibility of hosting a phone-a-thon to confirm that our members
are registered in key districts. Steps to take.

- Discussion of target locations for canvassing. Determination of
precinct captains.

- Target organisations for on the ground voter registration. Steps to
take next.

- Progress on voter registration tools and computer purchase.

- Process tasks for voter registration tracking and follow-up.

- Possibility of a large voter registration launch event for the 2010
mid-term elections.

Voter registration is very important to winning key districts.
