Dear Party Activists and residents in the Detroit area:

We will increase turnout when party leaders and elected officials are more knowledgeable about the issues that impact our community, our economy and the future of our planet.

Will our children have clean water in 25 years?   More young people will vote when they get the answer to this question.

How many environmental refugees are there?   Flint is not the first environmental tragedy.   Immigration is also an environmental justice issue.

What damage is the radioactive waste at US Ecology causing to Detroit's regional water system and residents in Hamtramck and Detroit?

How does environmental sustainability create new union jobs, markets and industries?

Please read about Climate Change and environmental justice before Wednesday's meeting.

When we are more knowledgeable, we can be prepared to move our elected officials to lead and voters back to the polls.

As Democratic Party leaders, we must inform the public on why Democrats are better . . . simply handing people a poll card on election day at the top 50 polls does not get out the vote.

Trump is making moves.  Snyder's environmental onslaught continues.  Get involved in presenting solutions.
