VIGIL FOR PEOPLE’S PARK
What does People’s Park mean to you?

SATURDAY, JANUARY 4, 2025
2:30PM - 6:30 PM
at the Chess Club at Haste & Telegraph, Berkeley, CA

One year ago, walls went up around People’s Park. But the park’s spirit
lives on through its people. Join us for a community vigil to honor the
resilience of People’s Park, share stories, and work toward its
liberation.

Open Mic: Share your stories, poetry, or reflections about the park and
what it means to you.

Community Action: Collaboratively reimagine the park’s future and
brainstorm steps toward reclaiming it.

Film Screening: Watch a documentary about the park’s history and the
ongoing struggle to preserve it (starts at 4:15 PM).

Let’s unite in solidarity, amplify our voices, and reaffirm that the
park lives on through its people.
