NOTICE: This meeting ONLY, we will interrupt the Install Fest during the Memorial Service, for our dear friend, Phil Barnett, who was a FOUNDER, and past President of the Linux Enthusiasts and Professionals - Central Florida.
Room occupancy: 100! FREE COFFEE from 9AM to 10AM!
Then, we will be in session again from 1 PM until 5 PM.
Bring your computer and all accessories necessary to power it up! Bring the keyboard, mouse, monitor, speakers or headphones!
We also like to experiment with the Raspberry Pi (quad core 900MHz micro computer), Beagle Bone, Arduino, and other single board micro computers!
Club focus is on helping YOU with knowledge, solutions, repairs, upkeep, and better computer joy, we also talk HAM Radio, Raspberry Pi, Arduino,
Ekiga, SIP, and a HUNDRED THOUSAND free applications, games, suites, developed by the Fortune 500 Corporations, and hundreds of governments, over the passt 22 years! Yours, FREE!
Yes, we run all Linux Distros, the many BSDs, and can help you find your way in the computing world!
We've been meeting here since 2004.
Donations of older computers, keyboards, mice, trackballs are welcome!
(Sorry, we can't take Cathode Ray Tube Monitors or TVs).
We use computers of 800MHz to 1.7GHz with IPFIRE, to protect schools, homes, businesses, with up to 36 computers per network. The commercial version of this system costs Microsoft over $7,000 for each of their 400 Secure Aruba Firewall Routers! Yours, for FREE, with minimal investment of time to learn, install, and configure IPFire on your spare computer!
