Invitation to apply for the Lagos Hardware Hackthon

Dear Tech Enthusiast,
This is to present to you an opportunity to benefit from a special event, one of its kind, holding in Lagos Nigeria in April. It's the Lagos Hardware Hackthon !
The Lagos Hardware Hackthon is organized by The Design Institute Lagos and Welldone.org. It would be a period for learning, networking and proffering solution to problems via technology.
First, I have the singular privilege to introduce to you Mr Tokunbo (an ex OAU Student) a key part of the event organisation. He worked with IBM and Google, after which he was a member of the pioneering team that started Konga.com, serving as the CIO. He founded and is the current CEO of Cotta & Cush, and also, Co-founded The Design Institute Lagos, the organisation Co hosting the event.

The first event will hold between April 26 and May 1, 2016.
The event will feature a number of workshops and tutorials on relevant hardware topics including the use of 3D printers, Arduino and Raspberry Pis from Tuesday 26 to Thursday 28 April. During this period, we'll also have teams discuss ideas and liaise with our international faculty and mentors to firm up their ideas.
The hackathon will start in earnest on Friday 29th and end on May 1. On the afternoon of May 1, we'll have presentations to the panel of judges. Following this event, the teams with the most promising ideas will get the necessary support from our mentors and from partner companies to help the teams bring their ideas to market.
Students will also be exposed to companies such as Abuja Electricity Distribution Company ( http://www.abujaelectricity.com/ ) and Tranos Contracting Limited ( http://www.tranoscontracting.com/ )who have both expressed interest in meeting talent at the event.
