Yoga is a fun and lively space for children to learn how to maintain a healthy body and at the same time to come in touch with our emotions and develop awareness and focus of the mind.

Through the practice of yoga, character virtues such as non-violence, truth, non-stealing, self-control, unselfishness, cleanliness, contentment, great effort, self-study and faith are developed in a fun and enjoyable way.

Wisdom and compassion follows naturally through the learning and growing of a discipline and practice.

From their space on the mat, yoga teaches how to bring positivity into relationships of family, friends and school.

Start young! Our children's yoga class is open to kids between the ages of 8 to 13 years old.

Schedule:

Sundays, 10 to 11am

2, 9, 16, 25, 30 June and 7 July 2013 (5 sessions, $115.00)

11, 18 and 25 August 2013 (3 sessions, $69.00)

8, 15, 22, 29 September 2013 (4 sessions, $92.00)

About the teacher
Angeline Goh thinks of her yoga mat as her playground, laboratory and office. She very much enjoys the practice for the clarity and revelations they bring to her life. While there is a strong element of discipline in the practice, she believes that light-hearted play is equally important.

Similarly, she would like to help others develop a practice that will allow them to learn more about themselves. Angeline is a disciple of Peter Thomson and is a certified Intro II Iyengar teacher.
