Invitation: Worldwide Climate and Justice Education Month March 2026

Please Join us in March 2026 for the first Worldwide Climate and Justice Education Month! By popular request, we are expanding to a month of Climate Classes, Climate Education Events and Worldwide Climate Games Day (March 27, 2026). You choose the approach that works best for your students and your community. We have many examples and resources. Please register your plans and get on our interactive map.

Of course, you shouldn't wait until March 2026 to educate about climate change, solutions and justice. We invite you to become a Climate Classroom any day of the year. You can earn certificates depending on how many climate classes you teach.

We encourage teachers who are new to climate education to use free Teacher Professional Development online courses from our partner https://subjecttoclimate.org/.

Worldwide Climate and Justice Education Week 2025 featured >500 educators making climate a class, >70 events in >50 countries (see our 2025 interactive map) including >30 virtual and hybrid events and the first Worldwide Climate Games Day. Thanks to everyone who participated!

In our view, the biggest threat to our future is thinking that someone else will lead. We must all talk and teach about climate solutions every day. We need to help our students and others turn from climate despair to climate repair.

Please see our website for ideas, examples and other resources. View recordings of our webinars. Join our Worldwide Climate & Justice Education Month: LinkedIn group. Please contact us at SolveCli...@gmail.com with any questions or suggestions or to discuss how you and your institution can be involved in Worldwide Climate and Justice Education Month 2026.

Please share this information with at least 3 colleagues, especially those who do not usually teach about climate change issues. Every educator needs to help their students learn how everybody can and must be part of climate solutions and climate justice regardless of their discipline and skill sets.

Worldwide Climate and Justice Education Month is a project of the Center for Environmental Policy and the Graduate Programs in Sustainability at Bard College in New York in collaboration with the Center for Climate Literacy at the University of Minnesota and other partners.

Please consider making a tax-deductible contribution to Bard College to help us continue our work. Go to Worldwide Climate Education | Host Climate Conversations, click on the DONATE button and follow the instructions.

Thank you very much for being part of the solution!

All the best,

David Blockstein, Ph. D. and Eban Goodstein, Ph.D.
