Climate Summit at Pingry on October 4th!

Hello OASIS members,

Hope the beginning of the school year is off to a good start for you!

I'm writing to let you all know about an amazing opportunity for students at all schools interested in sustainability/environmental action. This will be the third year that Pingry is offering a Climate Summit on October 4th at our Pottersville campus. We are hoping to include students from other schools this year. The event includes workshops provided by partner organizations (such as Raritan Headwaters Association), Pingry faculty and even students, as well as a vegan lunch cooked by one workshop group and sweet treats from Yellow Rose vegan bakery. The day ends with an action planning session for students to think about applying what they have learned to their schools and wider community.

The deadline for students to sign up is 19th, though, so it will come up pretty fast. I'm hoping you can spread the word among potentially interested students at your various schools. I've attached a flyer for you if you are interested in hanging it up or handing it out. If you just want to email out the link, here it is: https://pingry.campbrainregistration.com. They will need to create an account and find "Climate Summit 2025" under the options.
